4 Tools for Clearing the Wounded Masculine from Your Field

I have had several dreams over the last week that reminded me the importance of setting up healthy, loving boundaries (yes, sounds like an oxymoron). Though at some point I want to address the wounded aspects of both masculine and feminine, lately the wounded masculine has been "snarling" at me and my subconscious, and I wanted to share some observations, insights and tools. Please note that the ultimate objective of pointing out the wounded aspects is to heal them so we can all step into our Divine potential as humans. We are not perfect; we came here to learn and grow. And as we do, that growth allows us to step into our authentic nature. Earth is the best soul classroom EVER.

First off, if we grow up in categorically dysfunctional households (and that would be about 95% of us in some way, shape or form) we acclimate to certain unhealthy behaviors because they are our "norm." We know no different. Those behaviors can, over time, lead to unhealthy life patterns and leaky boundaries. They can also lead to enhanced intuitive gifts - like, "Oh boy, dad had a bad day at work today and I can feel his edginess. I'd better hide out in my room." = Development of an empath.

So the first step, awareness and identification, is key. Many of you reading this are aware that there might be invasive people in your family or friend group. The hard part is addressing this, or knowing whether or not it even needs to be verbalized (like will this person even digest what I'm saying? Or will they get defensive?).

So pinpointing the characteristics of the wounded masculine, whether in a male or female body, is HUGE. Here is what the wounded masculine looks like:

THE BULLY:

  • Abuse of power
  • Abusive (verbally, mentally, physically)
  • Aggressive
  • Avoidant
  • Confrontational
  • Controlling
  • Hyper-Critical
  • Dominant
  • Overly competitive
  • Perpetrator
  • Unsupportive

The masculine YANG energy is more linear, calculating in an outward sense. If they're going to stir the pot or rock the boat, they'll make sure it's in public or a place where you are unable to retract or even react without looking crazy. This energy is harmful to all chakras and energy fields, but mostly the sacral (self-worth) and I'd say throat (healthy communication). Or at least that's the pattern I've noticed with self and others.

This energy, masculine dominant and justified in their actions, often has little to no filter. Nor does it consider how toxic words can harm - or they are intentionally meant to harm as a means of domination.

TOOLS:

    1. If you already have someone who triggers you repeatedly, and you know you'll be spending time with them, BUBBLE UP energetically. This means: Set the intention to surround yourself with light, angels, passed loved ones, etc., before you see them. Call in the Archangel Michael. Big ORB of LIGHT.
    2. If triggered or they "pop the bubble," note where you feel this energy in your body. What chakra/body part? For me, it's the solar plexus, like I got gut punched. Solar plexus is our power center, so it would make sense that you feel it there or in the heart space. Breathe into that part of your body or energy field YOUR NAME and breathe out theirs. If you are face-to-face with this individual, remove yourself as politely as possible. Do this at least three times. The reason we check in to where we absorb that energy in our bodies is because that is where others "dump" their stuff they are not processing into OUR field. But, it is not our job to collect that for them. Give it back to them.
    3. WRITE. (Afterward - this helps clear and seal your field in preparation for future encounters) Paragraph 1: What you love about this person (try to find something). Paragraph 2: What you don't love. Paragraph 3: What you hope as a win-win for ALL involved. Keep in mind that the only reason people behave this way is because it's what they've been taught or they use this as a means of protecting their vulnerability. As we grow, we all create/develop "shells" or layers of energetic protection to keep us safe. Some of us have more layers than others.
    4. The final tool is PLANTING the SEED. And this applies to both the masculine and the feminine. Saying something to someone who is not ready to hear it is futile. "Hey, Uncle Joe, your insulting my toddler for spilling juice on the table was super rude, controlling and inappropriate," might lead to a fight out back. Not worth it.

We plant seeds when we know our words will have zero impact. There is little to no control in this process; it is quite the opposite, in fact. It is also the most challenging when we hold anger or resentment toward a person. AND, it is the most healing - it includes forgiveness, letting go of our own control, acceptance and ultimately compassion.

CALL IN the archangel Chamuel (heart and relationships), call in Mother Mary, Jesus, Buddha, Raphael (healing), Gabriel (communication). Call in your dog that's crossed over - whatever or whomever has your back! Ask them to help you in this situation to be at peace, and then to heal the parts of that "triggering" wounded masculine person that he or she cannot see. There is a young child underneath all that outward blasting that needs a hug. You may not be able to hug them (and you may not want to), but the angels can.

THAT, my friends, is the seed of love. Most powerful healing tool in the universe.

Much love always,
Jess (and Chad pictured - the loving Divine Masculine and Feminine. We've used the aforementioned tools a LOT together)
