Clearing Space pt. 1

Before I delve into this month’s topic on “clearing,” I wanted to take a moment to thank you, again, for attending my past events or for signing up for my online meditation.  I hope that you have found the resources and information beneficial and applicable on your personal spiritual journey.  That right there is my primary objective.

You may have expressed interest in scheduling a follow-up reading or pursuing one-on-one spiritual guidance mentorship classes.  If you are still interested in either avenue, please check out my new online scheduling via my website:

Practice to Clear Your Mind

Now on to Clearing Space… Part 1

This is going to be short, sweet, simple, and based on experience and observation for what works and what doesn’t.  In my workshops and with my mentor students, we always cover the basics of meditation in 4 easy steps.  I call it the BACC (Breathe, Assess, Connect, and Clear) Approach.  If you are looking for peace from the inside out, start here.

Step 1: Breathe
Breathe not to your lungs but past them.  Visualize breathing all the way to your root chakra at the base of your spine and all the way back out.  Breathe in the words or affirmations that you want to see within you (i.e. – “patience” when you are driving; “calm” when you are disciplining; “peace” when you are frustrated).

(Watch my YouTube Video on this topic)

Step 2: Assess
Know where you are:
Mentally (what are you worried about or dwelling upon?).

Emotionally (how are you feeling and where do you feel it in your physical body?).

Physically (relax all muscles in the body.  Notice where you feel any tension/pain and deliberate breathe into it, hold, and release).

Spiritually (open up the crown and envision a beautiful white, iridescent light shining down through your core).

Step 3: Connect
Envision your spirit light in your core extending from the crown of your head upward, out of the earth’s atmosphere, into space, to the ends of the universe and directly into God’s (or whoever is in charge) hands.  Imagine the hands sending that same light, amplified, back to you through space and back into your crown.

Step 4: Clear
This is just about the easiest step.  Once you have opened up the channels of communication through the crown, all you have to do is ask to “clear.”  You want to envision the clearing energy moving all the way from your feet to the top of your head.

Practice these steps throughout the day, and you will notice a distinguishable difference in how your day progresses.  Notice where you tend to get frustrated – what are your “weak times” or what are your emotional/mental triggers?  The best way to find peace and happiness?  Stop.  Breathe.  Assess.  Connect.  Clear.  Smile.  Repeat.
