Just Believe
NOTE: When we shift from fast-paced, on-the-go lifestyles to slowing down and becoming more aware of who we really are and what brings us joy from the inside out, it can be overwhelming! At first.
But, here is the kicker. Actually, there are two kickers: we have an innate purpose; it is that which makes us most happy and brings us the most joy. And, we are not alone.
So, the question is this: What makes you happy? (When do you feel most like YOU? When are you inspired or in the midst of some creative project that you can’t put down? What is that project??) Subsequently, what do you have to do to start down this path. If this is what makes you most happy – and all the Universe wants for us is utter happiness – what’s stopping you from doing it? If you love writing and are energized by it, by all means, write! Find the time, make the time.
Part two is that throughout our day we are constantly guarded, protected, and loved by forces that have long since left most of our memory banks. I know this because I talk to them. Regularly. Each and every one of us has at least two or three guides or ancestors gently leading us along. They tug at us when we are frustrated and remind us it’ll be ok. They send us signs all the time, but we are often too distracted to notice. They gently nudge us in the direction of our happiness – it’s their job. By slowing down and practicing being more in tune with ourselves, we are communicating with them by default. How? By meditating, doing yoga, being still, going for a walk without a cell phone, watching a sunset, looking at the suns rays filtering through clouds.
So, the first step to finding who you really are is by following your gut and your heart, no matter what anyone else says. The second step is to believe. You are loved, protected. Always.

Love and big hugs,Jess
