I had planned in my own mind to chat a bit about “boundaries, protection and clearing” as a follow-up to my last newsletter. But alas, as I sat in bed early one morning, I was blessed with a beautiful message. And of course, it is my duty to share, so share I shall.
One evening I was struggling with my human self in relation to others (a little conflict). Happens sometimes. I wrote in my journal the following:
I worry so much about things which are almost entirely out of my control. And for what reason? I, this evening, want to let them all go. Give the worry to God!
Below is Mary Magdalene’s (MM) response the following morning:
“People are going to do what they do regardless. We seem to think we can change their thoughts and who they are – or who they have created themselves to be to survive – by merely a kind word or gesture. Though such actions help facilitate peace, they will not promote lasting [eternal] change. They are impermanent.
Change is inevitable. All we need do as individuals is mold ourselves into the idea that positive change is possible, plausible and destined to occur regardless. If God/the Universe was, is and always will be the beginning, then that same energy is the end. Think: INFINITY
If one grain of sand, representing each of us as individuals among millions and billions, is consumed by an oyster – in this sense the oyster being the love of the Universe – it becomes something beautiful and rich over time and through eternity (the restored, illuminated soul). It becomes its potential: a pearl. And this pearl becomes a representation of what is possible for all the other grains of sand.
In short, when we immerse ourselves into all possibility and let go of what we think ‘is’ based on our human experience, we can step into our potential.”
Me: So if we all consider ourselves as grains of sand growing in this oyster shell universe – and are patient and easy on ourselves as well as others going through the process – we will inevitably become the pearl. So how do we do this in a material world? And how long will this process take?
MM:
“To answer the latter, it will take centuries upon centuries in “earth time,” but again, in the Heavens, it has already happened.
It takes much concerted effort and focus in a material world. We already know what to do, but we have to release the resistance. On a daily basis, we recommend slowing down, paying attention to details and signs (both emotional and physical; physical like animals, repeating numbers, colors, songs, people, etc.). Turn off technology and be in the “real” of the moment. Look back at your life and truly consider a time when you were fully present. Where were you, what were you doing, and how did you feel?
Do not use outside stimuli as an excuse not to be present. It is not work’s fault that you are unhappy. What do you need to change to bring in what you need and want and deserve at any given point and time? BE that.”
And a big thank you for that wisdom. Much needed.
Much love to you all,
Jess
