The above image is my bathroom. My place of warmth, comfort, cleanliness and clearing, my morning foundation for the past 7 years… until now.
The Bathroom Story and Surrender
I share this image as a visual analogy between the earth’s shifting energy and the “construction work” in my bathroom. Seems a silly correlation perhaps, but much like the subtle symbols and signs that surround me, this movement from demolition to regeneration work, along with observations of the same shifting among clients and friends, forced me to ask some questions. For example, “What the heck is going on right now?” You too may sense the “squirming” as our world is being remodeled – physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, energetically.
Gregg Braden talks of “The Shift of Ages” in his book “Awakening to Zero Point.” The premise, through scientific research, observation and study of the ancient mystical traditions is that at this specific point and time in the earth’s history (commencing in 2012), we are completing a 200,000-year-old cycle which initiated a major shift that started 2000 years ago. Some called the completion “the end of the world” or the “day of reckoning” if you recall. It was/is actually the “death” or releasing of the old and bringing in of the new school of thought. Have you noticed the changes?
What you may be witnessing right now is the inevitable “uncomfortable-ness” that accompanies the unknown outcomes of all this simultaneous change. This transformation may cause anxiety, stress, confusion, insomnia, etc. These physical and emotional symptoms are a normal response to our letting go of what we thought was our foundation – we are letting go of Dumbo’s proverbial “magic feather.” And because we are all connected (quantum entanglement), this is amplified globally. We all handle this a little differently, but ultimately what it does is force us to face our fears. And our fears need to be brought to light so that we, energetically, can shift into a higher awareness.
So what does this mean for us? Daily, we need to:
- Anchor into the new, changing earth. Ground morning, throughout the day and at night.
- Ask for healing for self and others. Make a prayer list.
- Meditate. Travel astrally to see the bigger picture within the change.
- Ask for guidance. Then listen.
- Be kind and always true to YOU (boundaries with love)
Circling back, this image of the demo work in my bathroom is a pretty accurate depiction of change and transformation in my personal world. And my world – like yours – reflects the bigger picture. We are always “under construction,” and it really doesn’t ever stop. The primary question we must ask ourselves is whether to fight or to surrender, to resist or to open up. Which do you suppose facilitates peaceful change?
This Saturday the 23rd at 3:20 pm I’ll be teaching on the topic of Tips and Tools for Astral Projection at Shift Charlotte. It’s a one hour talk on my personal story, what astral projection is, its benefits, what happens in the brain and, ultimately, we’ll practice the tools for astral projection in the session. For those of you looking for positive change and a little direction on your personal path of spiritual growth and awakening, I highly recommend attending. It is through meditation and astral projection that I have been able to accept and overcome my resistance to whatever “interference” presents itself. Interferences do not disappear; they merely show us where else we still have to grow. You ready to grow?
Sending love,
Jess
