What is the best way to deal with change?

Changes (and Portals) Afoot!

Huge transitions happening right now. I have several clients whose mothers are in the process of transition, whose animals and children are acting out more than usual, whose work is causing them to question their purpose and fulfillment, whose relationships are a big question mark.

We are collectively letting go of the old to make way for the new. It is fall, after all. This phase of life (the death part) can be and is jaunting.

Hang in there. This too shall pass. And it’ll pass a lot quicker if you let go the rope, trust, try to see the bigger picture. So how do we deal with change?

Tools for facilitating the transition:
  • Stop and take (many) breaks
  • Be outside communing with nature, earth, the breeze
  • Clear the mind space and ground
  • Journal your feelings – get it out!
  • Salt baths. Or showers. Just salt!

Another most important aspect is that of holding space. “Holding space” is a powerful divine feminine attribute and strength – one that has been highly discarded over earth time. It is the womb, the grail, compassion, mercy and grace. Many of us are experiencing uncomfortable feelings, vulnerable feelings. The ones we like to hide from the world. All we need is someone holding space and supporting us as we deal with change.

If you’re feeling challenged by the shifts, reach out, ask for help.

If you’re observing someone going through it, hold space. This does not mean repeatedly asking if someone is ok but quite simply stating: I’m here for you. You are loved.

And, you do not physically need to be there. Imagine them surrounded by a giant bubble of light. Imagine what new growth will come out of the transition.

See them as strong, capable, and wise. For as we go through transitions with acceptance, we gain invaluable wisdom to share with the world. That is the Universe’s plan. And the Universe is pretty wise.

The crow is pictured here because it represents the transitions between life and death. It’s not a bad omen, friends. Crows, snakes – media has ruined them! Lol. The crow to me also represents the Christ consciousness.
