Music is my muse. Because I was raised on anything from Beethoven and Holst to The Who and Jefferson Airplane, I feel the frequency of self-expression deep within my heart space. The throat chakra is the strongest within me because of my love of music and sound frequency… and therefore sounds from other dimensions. It is through my throat, interpreted in the mind and expressed through my heart that I “hear,” that I feel and sense the Greater Truth. It is the root of my Awakening. FYI, we all awaken and “hear” differently, uniquely, collectively.
The third dimension, here on earth, echoes thoughts from the human mind. Yesterday I sat on my back deck listening to the sound of the breeze, chirping cardinals, when in my headspace I began to transmit, in a sense, voices— the sounds of other thoughts. I heard things like, “How can we make the world better?” and, “Why did I do that?“ all chattering simultaneously. It sounded like “despair.” And yes, I hear it; I am not oblivious or in some La La Land. Because I can hear it, though, I have had to train myself to tune into higher frequencies, that is, until we humans are able to collectively still the mind— one day at a time. This doesn’t happen overnight given the systems currently keeping us “stable.”
You see, it’s my choice, our choice what we want to tune into. As I adjust my station to the higher dimensions and frequencies, to hear the messages of my Aunt Bunny, for example, telling me how beautiful it is in heaven, that I was right, that it is full of color and love, acceptance, and peace. Or the voice of mother Mary repeating lovingly to be gentle on myself, to love myself unconditionally so I can love the world the same. When I hear and feel deeply these higher frequency messages I remember why I am here and that the static is just that: static. It’s not lasting. Our souls and spirit are eternal, and we are dynamic, constantly shifting and growing. It’s all part of the process, the journey.
In sense, we are bringing the heavens to the earth. And then responding back with joy and gratitude, earth to the heavens. One of the greatest gifts we can give back to our loved ones in heaven, to the universe, and to our Higher Selves is the gift of gratitude as well as realizing our power.
I close with an interpretation of the lyrics from one of my most favorite, complex, metaphorically deep pieces of music by Radiohead. It’s called “The Numbers.”
The song is filled with richness, deeper meaning, and who we are as individuals working together to heal the collective consciousness. The words and symphonic expressions are so harmonious when we really digest what’s being offered here that they bring tears to my eyes. There’s such a beauty the song suggests. It compels us to see and actualize this beauty together.
A few poignant lyrics – and if you so choose you can experience the rest of the song on your own (I’ve attached the acoustic version). I’ll be there with you, smiling with hope.
“Holds us like a phantom.”
The constructs and confines of modern society are in the same pattern of routine. (But they don’t have to…)
“Open all the channels. Ready to receive.”
The collective awakening has begun; we must be receptive to the newness, the shift that’s occurring.
“We’re not at the mercy of your shimmers and spells.“
Illusions of static beauty and the taunting of our fears from media influence are fading.
“The future is inside us. It’s not somewhere else.“
Through our love of this, our home for now, we can create positive change.
“One day at a time.“
We are making gradual progress. Together. It doesn’t happen overnight. There is hope.
Lift your heart to the heavens and warm your face with the sun, our star. Fill your mind with hope and love. Collectively. One day at a time.
Much love,
Jess
